STEC Equipment Expanding Operations

10,000 Square Feet of Service
STEC Equipment is expanding operations at its headquarters in Anderson, SC. The start of a new 10,000 square foot servicing building is the focal point of the company’s massive expansion project in 2021. The new building will house an overhead crane, 4 service bays and help the company continue increasing its shipping and receiving capabilities. STEC Equipment Owner David Taylor says the new building is a welcomed site. “We have been looking forward to this moment for more than a year, and we are excited to see it come to life” says Taylor.
Business is booming despite Covid-19
While many businesses have seen a decrease in revenue since the Covid-19 Pandemic, STEC Equipment has not. In fact, Taylor says the company is looking forward to one of its biggest years ever, “It’s just amazing to see how we’ve grown in these conditions and I am proud to say that it has been a team effort.” The expansion project was an idea that started last year but with shutdowns and closures across the globe, the project stalled and there was a concern that it may not happen.

Increase Welding and Fabrication Services
The improvements to the business located at 405 McGee Rd, Anderson, SC will allow STEC Equipment to increase its welding and fabrication abilities as well providing customers with Kioti tractors and specialized turf equipment. A truly unique one-stop shop for all your specialized turf equipment needs. STEC Equipment not only is a 5-Paw Kioti Tractor Dealership but is also the leader in turf equipment distribution. Providing much needed equipment for golf courses, sports complexes, and sod producers in the United States as well as internationally.

New Offices and Business Area
In addition to the new building, STEC Equipment has renovated their lobby, interior offices, and employee workspaces. “We are finally seeing the dream come together and we want to share it with everyone” says Taylor. The company is looking to pour concrete in the next few weeks and a ribbon cutting ceremony to take place later this year near the end of June.

Looking for Hardworking Talent
Understanding that in order to provide good quality service you need more than just a new building and renovations. It takes people. “People are what make up the backbone of any organization and not just anybody, it takes quality people to make a quality business,” says Taylor. STEC Equipment believes in always keeping a close eye on good talent especially in the upstate of South Carolina. Click the link to learn more information about opportunities at STEC Equipment.
