These specialized products are of the highest QUALITY. STEC Equipment DELIVERS them directly to the sports turf manager, golf course superintendent and turf grass professional.

STEC Equipment is seeking new Territory Sales Managers for multiple territories around the United States. These Individuals will be responsible for selling new and innovative turf grass equipment, working with existing dealers to sell and launch new and existing products, and maintain existing customer relationships.

Available Territories: WEST COAST, MID-WEST, NORTH EAST, TEXAS

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for selling turf equipment, and certain commercial products inside a specific territory

· Conduct routine field sales calls to assigned customers and prospect new business sales within the assigned territory

· Manage the customer’s expectation throughout the sales, delivery and service lifecycles.

· Possess the ability to operate and use all products and equipment lines.

· Provide technical product assistance and advice for equipment, parts and other related needs within reason.

· Provide timely and accurate pricing to customers while striving to maintain maximum profit margins.

· Develop sales strategy which ensures attainment of sales goals, sales growth and profitability with current and prospective customers.

· Maintain accurate records of projects, prospects, tasks, sales projections and quotes

· Ability to effectively speak in public and conduct proposals and presentations on equipment.

· Provide timely and effective communication to internal and external business partners regarding items such as trade-in equipment, customer issues, equipment demos, loaner equipment, etc.

· Assists with developing marketing strategies to build brand awareness and product promotions within the assigned territory.

· Attend manufacturing/vendor product training meetings and work local and regional industry trade shows.

· Assist branches in the annual inventory and other tasks when necessary.

Skills:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling

· Experience selling in the turf industry is a plus

· Knowledge of landscape products, power equipment and related parts is highly preferred

· Must have excellent selling, written and verbal communication and customer service skills

· Must be good with people, extremely tactful and professional

· Must live within the designated responsible territory

· Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurance standards

· Proficient in Microsoft products

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive a pick up truck, while hauling a trailer and equipment
  • Job requires employee to lift heavy objects on occasion, typically not exceeding 40 lbs
  • Employee must be willing to travel

Tractor – Commercial Mower – Compact Construction Equipment & Implement Sales

We are looking for some young, motivated and eager sales people to join our ever-growing team! 

In order to further our extensive online sales presence, we are searching for sales people that are involved on social media and feel comfortable with internet, as well as in-person sales. 

Our dealership is one of the most established and fast growing dealerships in the United States. We just recently retained our Gold dealership (Multi Million Dollar Dealer) status for the 3rd year in a row, maintained our Premier 5-Paw Dealership status with KIOTI for the 8th year in a row, were awarded the most grown dealership in the mid-market range for the 2022/ 2023 sales year. We were also recently awarded the #1 service center for KIOTI equipment, in the United States. STEC currently holds 48% of the tractor market share for tractor sales in the Anderson/Laurens/Abbeville counties! 

JOB PURPOSE: To assist internal & external customers with parts & service needs. To ensure the accurate & timely flow of material in & out of the warehouse including daily receipts, shipping & cycle counts.

– Meet and assist the customer in a courteous & professional manner providing them with the information they need

– Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location

– Demonstrates behaviors consistent with STEC’s values in all interactions with customers, coworkers & vendors

– Excellent customer service skills

– Ability to work well in a process driven environment

– Valid driver license in the state that you will work & a good driving record

– Assist internal & external customers by researching part numbers and processing orders

– Responsible for accuracy of incoming & outgoing orders

– Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory by performing regular cycle counts & annual inventories

– Assist service department with repair order functions

– Heavy lifting required, objects weighing more than 50 pounds

– Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe & efficient warehouse

– Contribute to organization’s team effort by accomplishing special projects & tasks

– Able to communicate both verbally & written

– Able to prioritize tasks & responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

– Experience with a computerized inventory system

– Daily purchasing & inventory management of materials, parts & maintenance supplies required for the Warehouse

– Maintain data & files to track and support inventory of supplies and parts

Purchasing: Maintain integrity & tracking of all purchase requisitions from approval through reconciliation

Vendor Management: Determine the best price with vendors relating to spare parts, materials and maintenance supplies. Request quotes on all parts, materials, supplies or items needed to support the business. Track vendor performance and ongoing service to determine best resources for our department. Use the current system in place to maintain tracking & data integrity

Budget & Accounts Payable: Track & maintain records to support budget controls. Track and file all information including invoices, payment statements, documentation reflecting all invoices & payments made for our partners & vendors.

Inventory Management: Track data & inventory of parts, materials, maintenance supplies & anything needed to support the maintenance & facilities department. Log in/ out all parts & equipment; restock all parts and equipment, tools for the maintenance department. Send equipment out for repair & calibration as required.

Receiving Process: Receive parts for the maintenance & facilities department. Maintain documentation for receivables & ensure inventory process integrity

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

– Strong understanding of the equipment and maintenance supplies required in all aspects of the parts and service department

– Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, & analytical skills

– Comfortable working with numbers and basic accounting skills

– Must be able to utilize PPE when necessary

– Must possess the necessary hand and motor skills needed to pull & stock parts

– Ability to work without direct onsite supervision

Requisite Education & Experience/ Minimum Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED

Salary: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
