Aeration Equipment
Aeration is essential for maintaining healthy, resilient turf!
Our innovative equipment lineup includes the GKB Deep Tine Aerator, VGR TopChanger, GKB Sandfiller, and more multi-purpose tools. Our equipment is engineered to help turf professionals relieve compaction, improve drainage, and enhance root development.
Why Aeration Matters
Whether you’re managing golf greens, sports fields, or any other high-traffic turf area, routine aeration will help keep your surface performing at its highest level.
– Relieves Soil Compaction: Opens up the soil profile to restore air movement and root space lost from foot traffic, mowing, and play.
– Improves Drainage: Creates channels for water to move downward. This will help reduce puddling, soft spots, and surface saturation.
– Enhances Root Development: Increased oxygen at the root zone supports deeper, stronger, and more resilient root systems.
– Boosts Nutrient Uptake: Helps amendments and topdressing materials reach the roots more effectively.
– Reduces Thatch Buildup: Core aeration breaks up thatch layers and supports natural decomposition.
– Consistent Playing Conditions: Smoother surfaces lead to better traction, predictable ball roll, and safer playing conditions for athletes.
The VGR TopChanger: Deep Aeration & Soil Conditioning
The VGR TopChanger, also known as the WETJECT, is an innovative solution for deep, targeted soil improvement. It works by injecting water, air, and wet sand directly into the soil profile. The TopChanger breaks through compaction layers and improves water infiltration — all without disrupting play. Its ability to inject wet sand makes it significantly more efficient and economical than traditional topdressing methods.
