From the Beginning:
Our President and CEO, David Taylor, came to America at 20 years old, as a part of a US venture for the British Landscape Equipment Company (BLEC) in 2001. Several years later, David had the opportunity to buy out the American operations of the company, and so STEC was started.
Since then, David and STEC have made huge strides in the industry, and are the leaders in turf innovation, and specialty turf equipment distribution.
STEC now caries over 10 different brands of equipment, and is able to offer quality innovative products to every area of the turf industry.
Our Location:
STEC is conveniently located in Anderson, SC. Just a few miles off of interstate 85, we are at a perfect halfway point between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. Being in importer and exporter, our location is a beneficial factor, in that we are just a few short hours drive from two major ocean ports.
At STEC Equipment, we pride ourselves on being a full-service equipment dealership. We have a full office staff ready to assist you through your purchasing process and provide support to you for the life of your equipment. We have an extensive parts warehouse and knowledgable parts and service staff, equipped to handle your needs!
Our service center is staffed with 3 technicians, and 5 large service bays. Our lead technician, Michael Payne brings over 20 years of experience to our service center and is a certified KIOTI Tractor mechanic. Together, our team of technicians offer over 55 years worth of experience servicing and repairing various types of equipment. In addition to on the job training, our technicians receive training certificates twice yearly, to stay up to date on new technology, innovation and diagnostics.
