Our President and CEO, David Taylor, came to the United States at just 20 years old as part of a U.S. venture for the British Landscape Equipment Company (BLEC) in 2001. Several years later, David had the opportunity to acquire the American operations of the company and STEC Equipment was born.
Since then, STEC has made tremendous strides as a leader in turf innovation and specialty equipment distribution. What began as a niche importer has grown into a trusted nationwide distributor. STEC represents globally sourced brands from The Netherlands, France, the USA, New Zealand, and Asia.
Today, STEC proudly offers over 10 brands of professional equipment. From turf renovation and maintenance machines to tractors, attachments, and compact construction equipment. Our team is dedicated to providing quality, innovation, and reliable support to golf courses, sports fields, municipalities, contractors, and property owners across the U.S.

We maintain an extensive parts warehouse and have a dedicated service team equipped to handle everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs. Our 7-bay service department is staffed with 8 certified technicians who bring over 100 years of combined experience working on all types of equipment, regardless of make or model.
To be sure we are always staying ahead, our technicians complete ongoing training and certifications twice a year. This keeps them informed on the latest technology, diagnostics, and innovations.

STEC Equipment is conveniently located in Anderson, South Carolina, just a few miles off Interstate 85. It’s perfectly positioned between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. As both an importer and exporter, our location provides a key logistical advantage, allowing us to serve customers efficiently across the United States and Canada. We’re just a few hours from two major ocean ports, ensuring reliable shipping and distribution for our global equipment partners.
